Good catch, Baban. I've edited out the silly word filtering, just to avoid confusing people who aren't used to it. (Tho I have to say I occasionally find myself just typing "spongebob" myself...)

Just so readers know: Funny word filters on Den of Demons forum include "Bob" for "friend" and "Spongebob" for "boyfriend" - Since this was copied straight from DoD, It still has these words in the sentences. It's a quirk of DoD we've come to accept or even love. : )

LS, you are welcome to post here under your own name to provide whatever rebuttals and evidence you wish, but please leave the "disguises" and sock-puppets at home. A mature defense does not include imaginary characters.

Bwhahaha trust me, I don't think she will remove those posts. I hope she can prove herself to everyone, I love going for the underdog, and let me tell you; Those dolls, though they might look slightly similar, are in no shape of form the same doll. To sad really, you guys just end up looking like pricks, and Doa looks like a HUGE prick and I hope AE can say sorry quickly before they look like pricks too. Hahaha This is tooo funny XD. Well I Hope this ends quickly, cuz really I think she does deserve her apologizes if this is all true (and it sure does look like the truth to me)

Well, for myself, 1. I'm not angry at all, and 2. I didn't have an opinion on LS one way or the other when I started this thing. I started the blog because Den of Demons is only viewable by registered users and I wanted non-registered-DOD users to be able to see all the info people on Den of Demons were finding.

I'll continue to post new information here as it becomes known to me, although I'm not making much of an effort to keep track of this on any particular side at this point. Sometimes things come to my attention, and when they do, I post them. It's not a lot of effort for me, but I do think this blog is a valuable resource for people who want to know what the crap is going on with all this stuff.

Since it involves essentially zero effort on my part (I spend maybe 10 minutes a MONTH on this, and that is a generous estimate) why NOT keep up with it?

I just... hrmn... I hate seeing so much anger on both sides of the argument.

People usually get upset and become irrational when they are caught doing something that was unwise, and I completely disagree with stealing and copying other artist's work and claiming it's your own. People also get upset and irrational when they are wrongly accused. So it's really hard to tell the difference.

These arguments though seem pretty heavily based on opinion against LS. I've glanced at the pictures and I can see similarities, but I see similarities between lots of dolls, I see companies copying Soom's hooves (or damn near close) more and more. Maybe she was just inspired by the sculpt and got a little too close to the original.

I'm disappointed to see how long this has been dragged out, and that there is no measure of forgiveness or moving forward on either side.

So why keep this ball rolling?

Why continue the crusade against and artist who may or may not have made a mistake?
At this point keeping track of this is just perpetuating anger in an argument that has become moot due to the impossibility of a solid outcome.

This is Jim Chan from Mint on Card, Inc. Sorry for borrowing your blog.

This is an issue that LadySaiyuki need to work with AE. LadySaiyuki never contacted us to confront us with this issue. We made it publicly known that we will facilitate her discussion with AE to plead her case with them. Even after she said horrible things about our business and me personally, we still believed that she had her rights to ultimately clear her name if she has the evidence. We have yet heard from her, nor seen a shred of solid evidence to contradict AE's statements. LadySaiyuki's claim of us "not budge" is totally and utterly false. There is nothing to budge if there is no communication.

Like Armeleia, we are going to be at Dollpa. We welcome anyone to come chat with us while we are there, but please, only Volk's related subjects and/or Lindsey's personally Volks collection. I am sure everyone who's interested in LS's story is reading this blog, I hope you respect our request.

As for "going after moc", LOL.

If you look at SDC Renee's hands they really don't look very similar at all except in the thumbs -- the fingers are very different, and the left hand is very loosely curled. And really, the style of the hands isn't very Volks-like. That said, it has been suggested that SDC Renee was the look she was going for here.

As for the legs, I think Dollmore's actually concluded that they are in fact Kid Dollmore legs but to my understanding is holding off making a statement because they don't want to cause a huge incident.

I'm not really the one doing any of the "consideration" here (neither is radiotrash), we're just harvesting evidence presented by others. So if you want to make up some comparison shots and email them over we'll certainly post them if we think they're informative.

And from a purely circumstantial evidence angle, would YOU mod your extremely expensive, extremely limited parts from a company that is extremely well-known and notably litigious and takes copying allegations very seriously, or would you mod the ones from less expensive, easily replaced dolls made by lesser-known companies that don't actually have a track record of nailing recasters to the wall?

Have you also considered Volks SDC fist hands? LadySaiyuki had a Volks SDC Renee with those fist hands.

Also, having an SDC girl myself, I can see some similarities in the knee and ankle jointing between Kodomo Serenity and Volks' SDC female body.
